Below is a list of the class descriptions and age range for each stage of the Sports for Children programme.

All classes have a strong emphasis on fun and are taught by fully qualified friendly coaches who make it their priority to ensure that every child feels welcome.

All classes are booked in advance.

Our Programme

Children can attend at any time after their first birthday, however they will gain maximum enjoyment from the sessions when they become stable on their feet.

Our youngest children are introduced to ball skills in fun, friendly sessions. All classes have a musical emphasis with each activity being backed by a different piece in order to aid recognition skills.

The classes offer excellent opportunities for interaction both between parent and child and between families so you are sure to add to your circle of friends at these welcoming sessions.

Within this class children are introduced to a wide variety of sports, including Football, Cricket, Basketball/Netball, Tennis and Athletics. The skills needed for these sports are built upon termly in small stages and each activity is paired with a different piece of music in order to maximise both recognition skills and fun.

Enjoyment is the primary objective of all of our sessions but our coaches will also strive to help your child to progress in all aspects of our sporting syllabus.

Parental involvement is key to this and you will be encouraged to support your child through the activities especially within the early days of these sessions.

Under Five's: This programme is aimed at those in their first year at school.

Quality football coaching in a safe secure environment, allowing children to build upon their skills and enjoyment of the sport at a young age. Please note that whilst parents are not expected to take part in these sessions, though if you would like to do so you are more than welcome, you are asked to remain within the room.
